Simple it is, according to Lance Hoggatt, to call Cushing’s 2008 high school football season a colossal failure.
Simple it would have been, Hoggatt said, for the Tigers to surrender all hopes.
But football, despite its seemingly simplistic nature — the strongest survive — is much more complex than that, Hoggatt said.
And so is life.
