It’s OK if you’ve not heard of the Shoemake School. A team carrying its banner will represent the Cushing area just the same.
Aaron Shoemake, 12-year-old son of Dr. Stuart and Trisha Shoemake, will be part of the Shoemake School team that will compete Saturday in a qualifying tournament of kids building and operating robots.
Aaron will join brothers Austin and Andrew Blumer, 12 and 10, respectively, in the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology LEGO League Oklahoma qualifier in the Wes Watkins Center at Oklahoma State University.
