Stop by Kids’ Town at the Lion’s Den, 124 W. Broadway St., at 4 p.m. No need to up the allowance for kids to partake. As the name suggests, Kids’ Town is an affordable shopping opportunity for children only. Downtown merchants will have stocked the shelves with affordable, fun gift ideas guaranteed to fit all half-pint budgets.
An Old Fashioned Christmas is always a fine time to enjoy equine accompaniment. Carriage rides will begin at 5 p.m. at Bank of Cushing, 224 E. Broadway St.
Not one to shop or sit in a surrey? Visit Cushing Community Theatre, 105 E. Broadway St., from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and be entertained. Enjoy a Christmas story reading, a demonstration by US Martial Arts students and other acts to be announced.
