Shirley Sue Boling

Sue (Taylor) was born on November 26, 1942 to Homer and Eula Taylor. After a short illness at age 82, Sue passed from this life and stepped over into heaven on November 6, 2025.

Sue was married to C.A. Boling on October 3, 1960 and to this union 2 sons and 1 daughter was born. Sue received her education in the Cushing School System, graduating from Cushing School System, graduating from Cushing High School with the Class of 1962.

Sue was very ambitious and talented. She was a very good artist and had a knack for designing her own creations as a seamstress. Sue worked at the Bank of Cushing and later worked at Hallmark in Stillwater as manager.

She loved working in her yard and in her home. She always had the coffee brewing and was ready to welcome whomever might drop by with much love and conversation.

Sue is survived by her children, son Mark Taylor and his wife Brenda, son Kevin Boling and daughter Janna Shaffer and partner Moody Robinson, 3 granddaughters Jett Shaffer, Olivia Crawford, and Alexandra Hall, 1 great grandson Ace Clark, 2 nephews Michael and Charles Taylor, and 1 sister-in-law Ina Price.

Those preceding her in death are her husband C.A Boling, her parents Homer and Eula Taylor, Brother Bobby Taylor, and her grandparents.

Sue will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend. A memorial service to celebrate Sue’s life was held on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Palmer-Marler Funeral Home. Sonny Johnston officiated.

A sincere thanks to all who was always there for Sue when needed. And a very special thank you to Willetta Stanley for all her kindness and the Friday Night Golden Girls’ who will also miss her. She will live in our hearts forever.
