Shirlene Flint Harmon was born April 17, 1938, to Garland Flint and Bessie (Scribner) Flint in Ripley, Oklahoma. She departed this life on January 9, 2026, at the age of 87 years.
Shirlene was raised in Ripley; she attended free Silver School and Ripley High School. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Harmon on October 1, 1955, in Ripley; Kenneth was 18 and Shirlene was 17 when married, the couple established their home in Cushing. To this union two daughters, Sheila and Tami, were born.
Shirlene was raised in the Church of God Church in Ripley and later joined the Free Will Baptist Church in Cushing. She loved the outdoors! She loved gardening, working in the flower beds, helping Kenneth in the shop, watching the hummingbirds and she especially liked spending time with their dog, Zoe. She loved to spend time with her family and when Kenneth was still driving a truck, she enjoyed traveling with him.
Survivors include her husband of over 70 years, Kenneth, of the home; two daughters, Sheila Riley and husband, Richard, of Stillwater and Tami Williams and husband, Gary, of Cushing; one brother, Harld Flint and wife, Jane; two grandsons, Wylie Riley and Montana Priest; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Shirlene was preceded in death by two sisters, Darlene Biswell and Arlene Flint-Wilson and three brothers, Lee Flint, Garland Flint, Jr. and Doyle Flint.
Graveside services were on Thursday, January 15, 2026, in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
