Wyatt Allen Earp

Wyatt Allen Earp was born on March 22, 1962, in Cushing, Oklahoma, to Obie “Jack” and Lorene May Earp. He passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 63, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, loyalty, and deep devotion to the people he loved. Wyatt grew up in the Cushing and Drumright communities and graduated from Drumright High School in 1981. He was united in marriage to Angela Marchant on June 17, 2005. They enjoyed raising three daughters, Raegan, Jenah, and Katelyn.

A talented craftsman with a strong work ethic, he became the owner of Custom Signs in Cushing and Wyatt’s Performance Boats as a boat manufacturer, where he poured his creativity and pride into every project. His work touched countless businesses and families throughout the area. Faith was an important part of Wyatt’s life, and he attended Olive First Baptist Church. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple, meaningful things—roping, spending time on the lake in his boat, restoring old cars and trucks and being surrounded by his family. Those moments, whether quiet or full of laughter, were the ones he treasured most. Wyatt is survived by his wife, Angela Earp; his three daughters, Reagan Earp, Jenah Thanscheidt, and Katelyn Pruett; his sister, Claudia Hopkins; and three grandchildren, Kollyns Thanscheidt, Oakley Boyd, and Swayde Wyatt Cook. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit, his humor, and his steady love. He was preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Lori Glimp. Wyatt’s life was marked by kindness, dedication, and a genuine love for the people around him. His memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him. Funeral services were Monday, February 2, 2026, at the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Interment followed at Euchee Valley Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Matherly-Davis Funeral Home.
