Cushing Technology Student Association (TSA) attended the Sequoyah County Technology Challenge this past Friday on Feb. 13. During the event Cushing TSA members Michael Wilson came in 3rd in the Coding Competition and Andrew Crum came in first in the Podcasting and On-Demand Video competitions. CUSHING — Black smoke was already pushing into the Sunday afternoon sky when a call came into the Cushing Fire Department about a possible fire in the area of the H&R Block building. The call came in at 4:13 p.m.. The first firefighter arrived at 4:14 p.m. at 409 E. Main, an unoccupied laundromat owned by Dr. Fred and Karen Crapse.
