Bobby G. Wicker was born on September 24, 1945, in Mousie, Kentucky, to John and Flossie (Hicks) Wicker. He passed away on February 5, 2026, in Cushing, Oklahoma.
Bobby was a wonderful friend and a great mentor to many. He had a servant’s heart and found joy in helping others in any way he could. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to making a difference, including serving in the Peace Corps for numerous years and helping adults earn their G.E.D., an accomplishment that reflected his deep belief in education and opportunity for all.
Bobby enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved gardening, cooking, spending time outdoors, and going on drives. He especially cherished attending outdoor events with friends and valued the many friendships he built over the years.
Known for his kindness, generosity, and steady encouragement, Bobby touched countless lives and was loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Flossie Wicker, and his siblings, Clyde, Leo, Randolph, Robert, Phillip, Ruby, and Nellie.
Bobby is survived by his nephew, John Wicker, and caregiver, Robyn Edwards.
Bobby G. Wicker will forever be remembered for his compassion, wisdom, and unwavering willingness to help others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life for Bobby Wicker at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2026, by the duck pond at Cushing Memorial Park.
