Jacqueline Sue Wiggs-Stafford

Jacqueline Sue Wiggs-Stafford, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born on March 15, 1939, in Cushing, Oklahoma, to Able Bo Gayhart and Hazel Dale Gayhart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Wiggs, her parents, and her father and mother-in-law, Jess and Carrie Wiggs.

Jackie was a kind and caring woman who loved her family infinitely and cherished her granddaughter and fur grandbabies. She was a woman of strong faith and was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Cushing, Oklahoma, where she served on the kitchen committee and helped with church camp and Vacation Bible School for many years. Jackie led a full and happy life. She spent many years as a hair stylist, owned her own bakery, The Sugar Barrel, and was co-owner and bookkeeper of Tom Wiggs Plumbing Heat and Air Company for years.

Jackie is survived by her daughters Rita Coleman and her husband, Jerry, and Marla Stevens and her husband, Roger; her granddaughter, Jessica Coleman and her boyfriend, Jeremy Taylor; two sisters, Barbara Reedy and Linda Yager and her husband, Joe; sister-inlaw, Lucille Petermann; brothersin- law Lee-Roy Wiggs and Richard Wiggs and his wife, Fern; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to our Luminos Hospice family for the special care they gave our mother. Services will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Strode Funeral Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma with John Holderread officiating.
