Nadine Myers the daughter of Richard Kirk Brown and Cora May (Williams) Brown, was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on September 19, 1940. Moving at the age of 2, she would live the remainder of her 84 years in Cushing.
She was employed at Escott’s, Montgomery Ward, Dalton Precision and retired after 21 years in accounting and payroll at Cushing Regional Hospital and proudly served as a member of the Hospital Auxiliary. She attended Cushing Schools and graduated from Cushing High School in 1958. She married her high school sweetheart, Roy Myers, and to this union they had two daughters, Kelly and Becky.
She is survived by daughter, Kelly Murphree and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Karly Murphree Kupper and husband, Tyler, and Dylan Murphree and wife, Mallory; great-grandchildren, Ryker Kupper and Ryley Kupper; daughter, Becky Spire and husband, Doug; grandchildren, Isaac Spire and Abel Spire and wife, TeeKayy; great-grandchildren, Kirk Roy Spire, Ida Spire, Sabel Ray Spire and Sawyer Layne Spire; her older brother, Dennis Brown; sister-inlaw, Mila Myers; many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, of nearly 52 years; her parents; brother-inlaw, Billy Myers and sister-in-law, Donna Brown.
Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in the First Baptist Church.
