Born Oct 10, 1959 in the U.S. Naval Base hospital at Port Hueneme, CA to the proud parents of Anna Marie Dupus. Don passed away Feb 3, 2025 at the age of 65 in Maryland.
Survivors are his father, Alfred Dupus of Mannford, OK. Sister Cynthia Niccum (Paul) of Cushing, OK brother William Dupus (Delilah), sister Beth Ferguson (John), brother John Paul Dupus (Adriana) of Sand Springs, OK, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Don’s son Chris Weir and his family of Maryland, Don’s good friends Jerry and Hollie Conlon and their twin boys, Aaron and Jackson of Virginia. Jerry’s sons miss Uncle Don.
Don is preceded in death by his mother Anna Marie Dupus and his wife Linda Weir. Don grew up in a rural setting and had interest in the farm animals and fowl. He loved his goats, ducks, dog and cow. He had a true interest in nature and all the wild animals. He was enthusiastic about fishing , camping and simply being in nature. Don took an interest in spiritual matters in later life. He became well versed in the Holy Bible and followed The Way and The Assemblies of Yahweh. Don lived in Virginia for 35 plus years but stayed in touch with family in Oklahoma via long conversations on the phone. We were very close. Don inspired so many people and is loved and missed very much.
