    On Monday, May 4, the Cushing City Commission held a swearing-in ceremony for newly elected Commissioner Ricky Lofton, who defeated commission chair Don Amon in the municipal elections in February. Lofty was sworn in to seat #5 by Judge William Ahrberg.

    Commissioner Lofton is a life-long Cushing resident who is married to Lisa. They have three adult children.
