Gerald Don Doll • August 19, 1934 - October 22, 2020

Gerald Don Doll of Yale, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, October 22, 2020 in Oklahoma City. He was born on August 19, 1934 to Earl and Lela (Clemons) Doll. Gerald grew up in Quay, Oklahoma graduating in 1953. He was in the Army at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, TX and later in Germany doing radar. After an honorable discharge he moved back to Yale, Oklahoma where he married Barbara Crowley. They raised their two children there, Sherry Lynn and William Gerald. Gerald worked in industrial x-raying at several places and afterwards worked at National Tank in Tulsa, OK until they closed. He also worked with his nephew building fence. Gerald married Kathryn Strader on October 14, 2004 and would enjoy 16 years together. They spent time camping, traveling, and playing Bunco with their friends.

Gerald is survived by his wife Kathryn of the home; sister Earline Lewis of Yukon, OK; sister in law, Liquita Doll of Yale; daughter, Sherry and husband Rick Hart, and son, William and family all of Yale, OK; step daughter Gayla and husband Jimmy Brown of Tulsa, step son Rusty Strader of Yale; granddaughter Rachel and JR Bray of Shamrock, OK; Rebecca Cloud of Mannford, OK; step grandchildren, Stacy, Lewis, and Robyn Johnson of Tulsa, Jennifer Myers of Moore, Deonna Sullivan of Yale, Byrum Strader of Perry; 14 great grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.

Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, brother Gene Doll, and sister Charlene McDonald.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday October 29, 2020 at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Lawson Cemetery Pavilion, Yale, Oklahoma.
