Cushing Masonic Lodge #111 member Lee Roy Kalka presented a personal check for $1,000 to United Way of Payne County last week, along with a dollar for dollar matching gift from the Cushing Masonic Lodge.
The United Way of Payne County is currently fundraising $950,000 with a local goal of $33,000. Currently, Cushing is at 92 percent of that goal with less than $3,000 left to fundraise.
