City Manager Terry Brannon, Keep Oklahoma Beautiful’s Jim Evers, Volunteer Marie Thackray and Cushing Pride Executive Director Richard Thackray, celebrate the. Honors Brannon and Thackray received recently during the virtual Keep Oklahoma Beautiful awards banquet.
There was disappointment in the year 2020 for those who enjoyed the Cushing Pride events of gathering at City Hall and loading up on buses to be whisked away to "Litter Heaven".
Events such as their April "Spring Into Action", or their "September to Remember" were legendary to the amount of trash that was able to be lifted off the streets of Cushing in just a two-hour period.
