The period to file for candidacy in municipal and board of education elections in Payne and Creek Counties was Monday, Dec. 7 through Wednesday Dec. 9. The election date in Payne County for school boards as well as municipalities is Tuesday, Feb. 9.
In Creek County, only school board elections will be held on Feb. 9. Municipal elections in Creek County will be held Tuesday, April 6.
