Carol Sue (Huff) Christian

Carol Christian departed this earthly life April 1st, 2025, at her home in Ripley to her heavenly forever home with her children by her side.

Carol was born June 29, 1939, to Tony and Dorothy Huff in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She and her 8 siblings were raised and educated in the Jennings area after multiple residences in Texas and Oklahoma. In her senior year she was FHA Homemaker of the Year. She was raised with the values of hard work and enjoying the blessings of family. Carol worked at a diverse set of jobs throughout her employment years, learning many skills and talents. She retired from her last job at OSU in 1998. She married Jesse Christian on June 27, 1962. There were 3 children born of this union, William, Kelli, and Dolores. Carol enjoyed the simple things in life. Family camping trips, floating the river, growing and nurturing her roses and (enjoying the view later), scouting out garage sales, playing her computer games, bingo and always a good game of spades. However, her most enjoyable love was spending time with her family. Especially, her grandchildren. She was lovingly anticipating becoming a great grandmother in May. In fact, in her last few days that was a repeated question of hers, “Is baby here yet”. One of her most cherished memories was going to the ocean with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in 2019. (This was on her bucket list).

Carol is preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter and son in law Kelli and Wade Wyatt, brothers Ralphard, John, and Franklin Wayne Huff, and sister Dolores (Huff) Helphenbine. She is survived by son Willam and wife Willenna Christian; daughter Dolores Graves; grandchildren Amber, Ben, Nieshia, Bill, Keyona, Kaylee and Tabitha; great-grandchildren Sean, Davin, Malia, Brayden, Keigun, Raylynne, Kyia, and Maks; Eagerly awaiting great-great grandchild Jaylen (in progress); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Carol was an avid and proud OSU fan.

Memorial services will begin at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Church of God in Ripley, Oklahoma.
