Funeral services for Stroud resident, Jerra Day, were held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 in the Memorial Chapel of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Cushing, OK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Michael’s Funeral Home of Drumright. Jerra was born in Orange County, California on July 28, 1961. She passed from this life in Tulsa February 6, 2021 at the age of 59 years, 6 months, & 9 days. Jerra had moved from Oregon to the Cushing area in 1997. She had worked as a Social Worker at Sheltered Workshop of Payne County & also did volunteer work at Love, Inc. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Bud & Jessie Schofi eld; & a Brother: Norman Schofield.
Her remaining family includes her loving CHILDREN: Jessica Moss of Cushing – Michael & Lisa Haymes of Stroud – Michelle Haymes & Lisa Marriott, both of Oklahoma City; Step Children: Troy – Ronnie – Shannon – Tayna - & Randy Day, all of Cushing; GRANDCHILDREN: Cheyenne – Jayce – Jerra – Heavenlee – Novalei – Isaiah – Jonathon – any many more; Siblings: Steve Schofi eld of Stillwater – Judy Pounder of Oregon – Bill Schofield of Oregon – David Carpenter of Washington – Don Schofield of Kentucky – Carol Ramos of Michigan ; in addition to NUMEROUS Nieces – Nephews – Cousins - other relatives & friends.
