Prior to the 2016 Cushing earthquake the Lions Club would hold their meetings and banquets on the corner of Broadway and S. Central Ave in their own building 'The Lions Den".
The earthquake totaled the building and left only memories downtown except for a little piece of real estate on the corner of Broadway and S. Steele referred to as Lions Corner.
