The Payne County Commissioners Monday learned the Payne County Jail recently passed its inspection by the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
District 2 Commissioner Chris Reding said the DOC inspector came last month to inspect the jail.
“It (inspection) got high marks,” Reding said. “They saw the generally clean jail that we see through our general inspections.”
