A small earthquake bumped through Cushing Monday just after 4 p.m. The temblor, which was centered just northwest of the intersection of Eseco Road and Linwood, at a depth of 4.8 miles, registered as a fairly weak magnitude 2.2, but was felt in downtown Cushing. Business owners reported hearing a sharp boom and feeling their buildings shift. No damage was reported.
