Emma Christine Spire Neal was born September 28, 1958 to Emma Lou and John Louis Spire in Columbus, Kansas. She departed this life May 26, 2021 at the age of 62 in Midwest City.
She graduated from Cushing High School in 1976. She then attended Draughon’s School of business where she earned top honors as medical assistant. She worked in Tulsa and Cushing during her career.
Before moving to Midwest City, she attended the Stillwater First Christian Church where she would meet some special friends Winston and Nancy Trenth.
Her hobbies consisted of playing the piano, singing gospel music with her dad, coloring and reading. She loved her family and always kept track of her family in their activities, especially her great nieces and nephews, Kirk, Ida, Sabel and Sawyer.
She is survived by her parents, John Louis and Emma Lou Spire; two brothers, John Louise Spire Jr. and Mark Douglas Spire and wife Rebecca; two nephews, Isaac Nicholas Spire, Abel Dalton Spire and wife Temika; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Margaret J. and Roy F. Spire, John Howard and Elva Perkins.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00am, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the Matherly Davis Funeral Home. Committal services will be held later at 2:00pm at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Chautauqua, Kansas.
