Jimmie D. Lane was born to Leo and Jencie Lane and resided in Agra, OK. He passed from this life peacefully in Stillwater, OK at the ripe age of 73.

Jimmie was a simple man. As long as he had a sunset and cold Coors Light, he was happy. Jimmie was a lot of things to a lot of people. He was strong. He was fi rm. He was tall, dark, and handsome and had one of those smiles you could never forget. He was a storyteller who made us laugh endlessly. He was a dreamer. He was a provider. He was a giver, always happy to off er advice on how to get the biggest and most fi sh. He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He made the perfect dressing for every holiday. He liked to lick the brownie batter bowl before anyone else could get to it. He was a gardener, a teacher. He was selfemployed in the oilfi eld business and excelled in the fi eld due to his limitless knowledge and charisma. He was a prankster. He knew the importance of a nap after a good meal. He was ornery with a quick wit. He was tender when you least expected it. Jimmie lived his life to the fullest, having adventures most of us only dream of. He truly was a one of a kind. We are so fortunate to have known and be loved by him.

Jimmie will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Lois; children Misty (Ryan), Clarissa (from a previous marriage); granddaughter Millie; siblings, Terry, Shirley, Sheila, Ronnie; and numerous other relatives and countless friends.

Jimmie was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Jencie; siblings, Richard, Donald, and Joyce.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Ok.

A graveside service will be held on Oct 7, 2021 at 11:00am at Osage Cemetery, Agra, OK.

Services are under the direction of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
