Kenneth David Clark was born March 1, 1947, to Ray Kenneth Clark and Nellie Adele Clark in Cushing, Oklahoma. He departed this life on October 3rd, 2021 at the age of 74.
He attended Cushing high school and briefl y attended Okla homa State University before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in July of 1967. He was a highly decorated Marine and held many medals and awards including a purple heart, a silver star, and a bronze star.
He absolutely loved washing and riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. He also loved doing yard work, so much so someone could eat off his yard. He was also extremely particular on how the fl owers were planted come springtime, as he would pull out a ruler or tape measure to make sure they were 6 inches apart.
He is survived by three children, Kacey Lysdale, Janine Clark, and Kenny Clark Jr; seven grandchildren, Jessica Cleckler, John Dobbs, Gauge Lysdale, Mateo Boyd, Theia Boyd, Benjamin Turner, and Oliver Turner; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Paula Mears of Sherman, Texas and Monna Reeves of Grove, Oklahoma.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the Matherly-Davis Chapel with Reverend George Brock offi ciating. Interment will follow at the Euchee Valley Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Matherly-Davis Funeral Home.
