A fountain sprouted up Monday after a water meter was struck in the midst of construction on the 900 block of Main Street. Concrete contractors accidentally hit a water meter pulling the service line from the main water line, according to City of Cushing Water and Sewer Maintenance employee Curtis Tucker, leading to water shooting 50 feet in the air.
