Patsy Mae Davis, longtime Agra resident, passed away at the age of 88, on Monday, December 6, 2021, at her home with her family by her side.
Patsy was born, Patsy Mae Parker on October 22, 1933, to Ernest Parker and Beatrice (Stevens) Parker in Skiatook, Oklahoma. She was the second of two daughters.
Patsy married Ferman Davis on April 19, 1952. To this union there were four children, Faith, Jeff , Dawn, and David. They spent many years on the farm working side by side. In later years she enjoyed their trips to Colorado in the late summer. In her words, “the cool was like heaven after the Oklahoma heat.” In more recent years she really enjoyed her fl ower gardens.
Patsy was baptized on April 22, 1957, into the Church of the Firstborn where she was active in her faith from that day forward. Patsy is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ferman Davis; both parents, Ernest and Beatrice; and one sister, Evelyn Anderson.
She is survived by four children, Faith Greenfi eld and husband Gene of Shawnee; Jeff Davis and wife Darlene of Agra; Dawn Poteet of Tryon; David Davis of Agra; two grandsons, Justin Greenfi eld; Brandon Davis and wife Shanise; two great grandchildren, Mason and Marcella Davis.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, and from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Parkland Cemetery. Brother Tom Wright to officiate.
