I did not know Terry Hoggatt, the man who edited the Cushing Daily Citizen for two or so decades. But in a sense, our paths have crossed. We are/were both journalists. We edited newspapers for more than two decades and I like to think we are/ were both men of moral character — judging from his columns, and from talking to people who knew him, Terry certainly seemed to be.
