Helen Louise Jester, Age 85, of Cushing, Oklahoma, fell into an eternal slumber on January 10, 2022. She was born in Ripley, Oklahoma and spent 42 years in Southern California raising her family. Helen was born March 2, 1936, to Edward Joseph and Edith Marie (Grimes) Todd. Family was everything to Helen, and Helen meant the world to her family. She will never be forgotten.
Helen Jester is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Marie Radford, Bobby Todd, Imogene Oakes, and Virginia Silkwood, her great-grandson Austin D’Ambra, and God brought her home to spend eternity in heaven.
Helen is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, Shelby D Jester, her daughter Rita K D’Ambra, Son, Donnie Jester, granddaughter Kim D’Ambra, grandson Phillip D’Ambra, great-grandchildren Tyler D’Ambra, Tiffani Peck, Ava D’Ambra, and Luca D’Ambra. Great, great-grandson Bentley Peck, brother, Norman Todd, sister, Arzella Dennis, sister, Norma Gene McBride, sister, Dolly Jauch, brother, Melvin Todd, and brother Wayne Todd.
Helen was an amazing woman of God, and she loved others unconditionally. She was generous to all, and she would give all she had to help someone in need. Helen had a fierce love for her children and grandchildren. She will forever live in our hearts.
Helen was a dedicated Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was a loyal and hardworking woman. Helen spent nearly 30 years committed to Hughes Aircraft in Long Beach, California. Helen received many service awards for her devotion to her job.
The family will have a private service on January 21st, 2022. We ask for your prayers during this difficult time.
