After 20 years and multiple moves Granny’s Pantry may be closing for good. On Tuesday, Jan. 18 two long time volunteers Diann Hunsucker and Gena Boyle took one more look at the nearly empty, recently sold building they had been operating out of for the last few years. The only items remaining were empty totes, hand-built clothes racks, some folding tables, and a few boxes left to donate.
A longtime staple of the Cushing community, Granny’s Pantry volunteers have been left with two options now that the building they have been operating out of sold — find a new location or donate all the items collected over the years.
