During the Payne County Board of Commissioners’ meeting held on Monday, Jan. 24 a continued burn ban was voted on. The ban was approved and took affect immediately.
While the ban is in affect setting fire to any open area, building a camp or bonfire, and burning trash and other materials is strictly prohibited.
