Deborah “Debbie” Sue (Miner) Koenig of Cushing, OK went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at her home with family by her side.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022, at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Interment will follow at Harrell Cemetery.
Debbie was born on January 18, 1958, to Donald and Roberta Miner in Olathe, Kansas.
She chose a profession in nursing, attending school in Joplin, MO and received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. She loved caring for pediatric and elderly patients.
She enjoyed camping, gardening, scrapbooking, and crocheting. She enjoyed her time with her grandson, Brice.
Debbie is survived by her son, Kenny Koenig and wife, Susan, and grandson, Brice of Cushing, OK. four sisters: Donna Young of Stillwater, OK, Brenda Gross of Branson, MO., Pam Butler of Purcell, MO. And Glenda Meysami of Jeff erson City, MO. One brother, Donald Miner Jr. of Fort Scott, KS. Debbie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, her youngest son, Matt Koenig and nephew, Nathan Butler.
