Raymond Michael Morris was born June 3, 2014, to Casandra Torres and Samuel Morris in Cushing, Oklahoma. He entered heavens gates April 2, 2022, at the age of 7.
Raymond had a few different alias names, such as, “Raymonator”, “Ray Ray”, “Rainman”, “Sugar Ray” and “Lloyd”. He was a happy first grader who loved to build things with Legos and jump on the trampoline. He enjoyed going fishing, gardening, and most importantly, he loved preaching the gospel. He was a born again Christian and was never bashful about letting others know about Jesus. Raymond would never let anyone go with a simple goodbye, always “Have a blessed day”. He enjoyed attending church so much that he attended three different churches, One Encounter Church, Bible Baptist Church, and Mount Zion Church all in Stillwater. He is survived by his mother and dad, Casandra, and Fernando Torres; father, Samuel Morris; five brothers, Felix Marquez, Gabriel Marquez, Samuel Morris Jr., J.T. Robertson and Tykota Hockemeyer; three sisters, Leanna Duram, Nancy Morris, and Aiyana Torres; Grandparents, Mike Cherry, Shelley and Leroy Snow, Cheryl Barker and Al Torres, and Retha Morris; Great grandmother, Berta June Black; Aunts, Erin Snow and Dee Manatowa; one uncle Joel Snow; cousin Simon Retherford; great great aunt Clarita Yost; and cousin Susan Retherford. He was preceded in death by one sister, Rebel Morris; Grandfather, Raymond Morris; Great grandfather, James Edward Black; Great grandmother, Nancy Boatman and his great great grandparents, Wesley, and Doris Worthington; cousin Douglas Retherford.
A viewing will be held Thursday April 7, 2022 between the hours of 4-7 PM. Services are scheduled for 11:00AM, Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Crossway Church. Interment will be held at Avery Cemetery.
