Calvin Louis Molloy, longtime Agra resident passed from this life on April 8, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing.
Calvin was born on March 10, 1948, in Cushing, Oklahoma to proud parents Alvin and Minnie (Porter) Molloy. He grew up in Agra and attended school there before being drafted into the U.S. Army. Calvin served in the 101st Airborne and was a Chinook Mechanic and Door Gunner in Vietnam. Four months after returning home to Agra from his honorable discharge; he married the love of his life Beth Herring on April 25, 1970. Their union of almost 52 years was blessed with two wonderful children, Shannon and Mitchell. Calvin worked in construction, oilfi eld, and lastly at the large animal division at OSU. His greatest joy in life was his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Beth of the home; children, Shannon Molloy-Stockton and husband Don of Cushing, Mitchell Molloy of Agra; grandchildren, Tasha McKinney, Ethan Molloy, Jennifer Widener, Ciara Stockton, and Andrew Stockton and wife Harley Robinson; great grandchildren, Kylie, Oliver, and Hadley; siblings, Donnie Molloy and wife Susan of Agra, Dale Molloy of Agra, Glenn Molloy and wife Lori of Agra, Dwayne Molloy and wife Cindy of Cushing, sisters Joyce Parlier of Cushing and Janice Rodgers of Cushing, sister-in-law Brenda Howard and husband Gary of Agra and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Molloy; sister-in-law Donna Molloy and brothers-in-law, Ronnie Rodgers and Lyle Marshall; nephew, Chase Molloy; and niece, Brittanie Molloy.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Parkland Cemetery.
