Debora “Hootie” Tinnie, 64, died September 7, 2022. A graveside service will begin 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Cushing, Oklahoma under the direction of Strode Funeral Home and Cremation.
Hootie was born December 6, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Roy C. and Evelyn (Hopson) Blankenship. She graduated from Cushing High School. She met Everett Tinnie and they were married in 1983. She worked as a Deputy Court Clerk in Payne County.
She enjoyed weekend road trips, puzzles, crocheting, and playing games and our version of croquet. Hootie is proceeded in death by her husband; both parents; one daughter Crystal Tinne; one brother R. Jay Blankenship and one sister Paula Brensing.
She is survived by her daughters Andrea Mercer and husband Jeff, Oklahoma City, OK and Stacie McEntire and husband Jeremy, Cushing, OK. Four sisters Becky Champlain and husband Robert, Shortie Pierce, Dian Blankenship, Rhonda Bagwell and husband Noel, and one brother Joe Blankenship and wife Shelly as well as five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
