A dedication ceremony is scheduled at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11 to honor WWII veteran Roy “Junior” Herring by naming a section of State Highway 18 North after the Bronze Star recipient.
State Representative John Talley will lead the ceremony which will be held at the American Legion Post 108 building at 214 S. Noble where Herring has been a longtime member.
