Dolores Call of Cushing, OK passed on Wednesday March 29, 2023 at the age of 94.
The daughter of the late Clyde Krepps and Ethel Powers Krepps, Dolores was born on December 20, 1928, in rural Caney, KS.
She grew up in Caney, KS and graduated from Caney High School.
She married Robert Call on July 25, 1949, in Pawhuska, OK.
In 1962, the couple made their home in Cushing. Bob became a managing partner of Call, Barrick, Ethridge & Co. Dolores worked as a bank teller in Cushing for many years and was loved by everyone. Dolores and Bob owned and operated CBY Polled Herefords in Cushing. They were both active in the Oklahoma Hereford Association and the American Hereford Association. Dolores and Bob actively enjoyed and loved the cattle operation and were involved in merchandising of show prospects and Youth Projects.
Survivors include her two sister-inlaws; Iva Scultz of Shawnee, OK and Ella Mae Pace of Bartlesville, OK also, a very appreciated friend Dr. Brett White and wife Tammy of Cushing and close friend Jerry White and family of Cushing.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) Call. Graveside services were held at 3:00pm, April 1, 2023, at the Robbins Cemetery in Dearing, KS, with Pastor Kevin Clouse officiating.
Services are under the direction of Matherly-Davis Funeral Home in Cushing.
