Isla Nugent gently cradles the recently transformed butterfly the Pre-K students at CPS were able to observe while learning about life cycles as one of the many hands-on projects the students participate in throughout the year.
The Pre-K students at Cushing Public School had the opportunity to learn about life cycles recently during which they observed the growth of caterpillars into butterflies. According to CPS Teacher Haley Shearer, this project is a favorite of the students but not the only hands on learning they do throughout the year.
