After 25 straight wins, a district championship and a conference championship, the Cushing Tigers’ baseball season came to an end Friday in the opening round of the OSSA State 4A tournament.
Matched against the 32-4 Lone Grove Longhorns, the Tigers grabbed a 1-0 lead in the second inning, but a disastrous sixth frame led to an eventual 7-4 defeat.
