SAND SPRINGS - A more than $26 million project began on SH-97 near US-412 in Sand Springs Monday, Sept. 11. The project will reconstruct the pavement, as well as add new traffic signals and sidewalks from S. Main St. to W. 2nd St. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained in both directions during peak hours. Work is expected to be completed in spring 2025.
