Sheila Jeanne Larson was born August 11, 1946, to James and Velma Hibbard in Yale, Oklahoma. She departed this life October 27, 2023, at the age of 77.
She graduated from Cushing High School in 1964. She retired from the United States Postal Service as a rural route carrier. On June 12, 1976, she was united in marriage to Douglas Larson.
She attended Crossway Church. Sheila collected music boxes and jewelry. She enjoyed watching television, especially “Everybody Loves Raymond”. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by her husband of forty seven years, Douglas Larson of the Cushing home; three sons, Lance Larson and wife Donna of Cushing, Dana Larson and wife Dena of Stillwater, Chris Larson and wife Kara of Van Buren, Arkansas; one brother, Randy Hibbard of Lawton; twelve grandchildren, Ashlea Frederick and husband Adam, Haley Larson, Rachel Larson, Toni Larson, Julia Larson, Andy Larson, Doug Jones, Derek Larson, Natalie Larson, Nick Larson, Aubrey Larson, and Jonathan Larson; six great grandchildren, Rylea Frederick, Connor Jones, Alex Jones, Anastasia Jones, Gabriel Jones, and Lane Larson. She is preceded in death by one son, Anthony “Tony” Larson and one granddaughter, Lynn Taylor Larson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00PM, Friday, November 3, 2023, at Crossway Church with interment to follow at the Euchee Valley Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Matherly Davis Funeral Home.
