Jack Russell Lorett

Jack Russell Lorett was born December 10, 1930, to Lawrence A. and Virginia (Simnett) Lorett in Seminole, Oklahoma. He departed this life on November 29, 2024, at the age of 93 years. Jack was raised in Yale and Drumright and attended school in Yale and Markum. He spent his working career in aviation; retiring as an airplane inspector from McDonald Douglas in 1992.

Jack experienced much love in his lifetime but unfortunately had buried four wives. He was united in marriage to Delores Ryker in 1947 and to this union two children, Sarah and Donald, were born. He was united in marriage to Juanita Stolte in 1986; gaining another son, Ronnie. He was united in marriage to Joyce McRae in 2010 and Pansy Kucera in 2013, gaining three more children, Debra, Kevin and Jawana.

Jack was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Senior Bowling League in Cushing. Some of his other hobbies included fishing, gardening, traveling, working puzzles, tinkering with things and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by four wives, Delores, Juanita, Joyce and Pansy; two children, Sarah Mae Brown and Donald “Donnie” Lorett; son-in-law, Kenneth Oliver Brown; brothers, Aloysius Lorett, Leon Lorett and Joseph Lorett and baby sister, Jenny.

Immediate family survivors include grandchildren, Angela Molthan and husband Michael, Kenneth “Rusty” Brown, Valerie Brown; greatgrandchildren, Eric Lassiter and wife Brooks, Keith Lassiter, Travis Curry; great- great-grandchildren, Lorenzo Lassiter and Mathias Lassiter. Additional family survivors Ronnie Stolte and wife Linda, Debra Jo Stein and husband Alvin, Kevin Gerfen and wife Priscilla, and Jawana Kirkpatrick and husband, Rod, Travis Harris, Kyle Stein and wife, Amanda, Heath Harris and wife Dixie, Autumn Pappan, Cord Harris and wife, Jennifer, Maddie Harris, Paden Harris, Jake Harris, Leyton Stein, Derek Stein, Brock Pappan , Nora Pappan and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
