Randy Gene Sams, 64, of Cushing, Oklahoma passed away at home on Friday, December 6, 2024 surrounded by close family.
His passion was motorcycles; he loved to ride. He liked watching Gun Smoke and watching westerns on Grit. Randy also loved all kinds of music and wanted to know all about the different artists. He loved to work outside and inside his buildings.
Randy quit school to go to work for Snyder Body Shop for $1.25 an hour. He then worked for his uncle, Joe, at his body shop. He also worked for Rest Haven Nursing Home in the maintenance department for 16 years. Then after work he would go to his brother, Curtis’s body shop to help him. Randy enjoyed working with his brother, Curtis. Randy was the sweetest person ever. He will be missed by all who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Esther Sams, and his brothers, Dennis Galbreath, Robert Sams, and Curtis Sams.
Randy is survived by his wife of 21 years, Gloria George; his daughter, Jessica Leverich (Andrew) and sons Dylan, James Taylor, and Derick Grossenheider; grandchildren Dylan Sams, Colton and wife Jordan, Matthew and wife Toni, Chelsey, and Derick Pool; greatgrandchildren, Lakin, Jacob, Carmen, and Ellie Mae; his brothers, Gary Sams, Rick Sams and wife Joy; and many numerous family members and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel.
