Cecil LeRoy Wright was born February 10, 1942, to Alfred James Wright and Ruth Irene Cobb Davidson in Drumright, Oklahoma. Departed this life on September 15, 2025, at the age of 83 years.
Cecil was raised in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School with the class of 1960. Following graduation, he served in the United States Army.
Cecil was a member of the 1st Assembly of God Church. He loved his church; enjoyed NASCAR, football, playing chess, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Oklahoma Sooners and telling jokes.
Survivors include his two sons, Jayson Wright and Allen Wishon; grandchildren, Aryan Thrasher, Toran Wright and Nicol Tate; great-grandchildren, Kaydence, Landon and Ensley Thrasher and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Wright and Jesse Wright.
Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Friday, September 19, 2025, in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
