Carrilee Testerman, age 72 from Cushing, OK passed away on September 8, 2025. Carrilee was born March 8th, 1953, in El Dorado, Arkansas to Paul and Virginia (Holmes) Powell. She also lived in Louisiana, Texas, and other towns in Oklahoma before her family settled in Cushing where her father grew up. She graduated from Cushing High School in 1971.

Carrilee and Edward Testerman were married on July 29th of 1972 and spent 53 years together. She always wanted to be a homemaker and mother. They raised their two children Carrianne and Lindsey on a farm south of town. She could be found in the hay field, checking cows, working in the garden, sewing, cooking or canning. She was a substitute teacher for 50 years. She was a 4-H leader for many years and devoted countless hours of her time driving 4-H and FFA members around the state to contests and loved every minute of it. Ed and Carrilee have continued to be supporters of the Cushing FFA where they were awarded an Honorary Chapter FFA Degree last year. She would welcome anyone to the dinner table and always seemed to have enough. Carrilee loved her grandkids who call her Nana. She loved to spoil them, having them come visit, making crafts, baking, and taking them fishing. She enjoyed road trips and visiting family in the Colorado mountains where they spent their honeymoon and 50th anniversary. Carrilee was a member of Crossway Church and enjoyed helping with events and dinners. Her and Ed were usually side by side the last few years and could be found around the farm or local sporting events.
