Gene Franklin Hebard

Gene Franklin Hebard was born September 27, 1957, to Frank T and Wanda (Koehn) Hebard in Cushing. He departed this life on February 20, 2024, at the age of 66 years. Gene was a longtime Cushing resident. He was raised in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School with the class of 1975. He was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Cushing and was also active in the Olive First Baptist Church.

Gene was united in marriage to Christina Carr on March 26, 2022. He enjoyed watching football, yard work, shooting pool and he especially enjoyed his job driving for Ahrberg Mill.

Survivors include his wife, Chrsitina; step-son, Jacob Womack; cousins, Barbara Richison of Tulsa and Bob Hebard and Bruce Hebard both of Texas; other relatives and a host of friends and coworkers that were like family.

In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Michael “Rusty” Hebard.
