CUSHING — The Cushing Lady Tiger slowpitch team has been hammering on ranked teams all season, so walking into districts as a top-10 team in Class 5A wasn’t a fluke. What happened next wasn’t either. They swept through the tourney bracket like a hammer through drywall — three straight wins, outscoring the opposition 26–2 like they had a goal.
