The Payne County Health Department has announced curbside COVID-19 testing will be available by appointment only beginning April 6th at the Payne County Health Department, 1321 West 7th, Stillwater

An Update on Real IDs; Tulsa Veterans Hospital

Real IDs have been available at tag agencies across the state for several months, but many agencies continue to face problems due to high demand and necessary COVID-19 precautions. I recently went online to renew my commercial drivers license (CDL), but I haven’t received it yet due to a backlog from a computer being down for several days.

According to the Oklahoma State Department of Health, as of Monday, Jan. 18, Oklahoma has 43,163 active cases of covid-19. There have been 335,247 total cases since testing began, with 289,309 recovered and 2,775 deaths attributed to the virus.

Qualifying crash knock’s Cushing Supercross rider out of season opener

The gate dropped on the racing season as Team Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM-WPS headed to NRG Stadium in Houston, TX for the opening round of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross series. As the newest team member Joey Savatgy and returning Justin Bogle suited up in their Fly Racing Lite Copper LE kit, senior team member, Justin Bogle, of Cushing, would not line up for the night show as an unfortunate crash in the second qualifying session left him banged-up with a sore lower back, hip, and knee.

Agra man seriously injured in accident

A 19-year-old Agra man was seriously injured in a single vehicle accident Sunday on SH 18, north of Chandler. According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Caleb Scott, Dillon Ray Potter, of Agra, was driving a 2007 Hyundai Tiburon on SH 18, about 4.5 miles north of Chandler at around 5 p.m.
