For all but one team in every high school football playoff bracket, the season will end with a loss. Such was the case for the Cushing Tigers, who ended their 2020 season with a 14-40 loss to Wagoner and fi nished with 9-4 record.
Tiger Senior Tristan Jackson holds back emotion as his season, and high school football career, ends Friday, in Wagoner. The Tigers fell to Wagoner 14-40, in the state championship semifi nals, making a playoff run that was much deeper than expected when the season started Sept. 4.
