Cushing Pride members Marie Thackray, Richard Thackray, and Director Laura Green braved the cold and was rewarded with the Mayor’s Choice Grand Prize Santa Trophy with their “Trashy Tree” during the Chamber’s annual Christmas parade.
The Christmas Tree Lighting hosted by DCRA on Dec. 10 had a large turnout showing the holiday spirit is wide spread also that people enjoy free hot cocoa.
The Cushing Chamber of Commerce’s “There’s Gnome Place Like Cushing for Christmas” parade happened Saturday, Dec. 10 in conjunction with special holiday sales and the Downtown Cushing Revitalization Association’s annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
