The Cushing High School band attended OSSAA State Competition on March 30 during which the group earned the Sweepstakes Award, according to Band Director Danny White it is the highest award for Oklahoma High School bands.
“It shows to all that Cushing has a wellbalanced music program and has achieved a high level of recognition that few in the state do on a regular basis,” he said.
